After Your Semester Begins
§ Before your financial aid is applied to your student account, you may receive a bill for tuition informing you of your current charges. If your status with financial aid is complete and you are in good standing,

§ Attend your courses and stay enrolled. Withdrawing could result in the loss of your aid. If you have any problems while enrolled, discuss them with your academic advisor and the Financial Aid office. DO NOT DROP OUT! Talk with someone!
§ To remain in good standing, financial aid recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 and complete 2/3 of overall attempted credit hours. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your financial aid.
Important Reminders
§ You must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year, beginning October 1st. Complete your FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov. The income information required to be reported is 2 years prior to the academic year FAFSA (i.e. if you are submitting the 2025-26 FAFSA, 2023 income must be reported). Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing the FAFSA to ensure accuracy.
§ Students who want to authorize a family member(s) to receive information on their behalf must complete an Information Release Authorization Form at Student Records. The form will stay active until you cancel the form at Student Records.
§ Regardless of the number of attempts made, students may receive federal financial aid for no more than 30 attempted hours of developmental courses, including the co-requisite courses attached to ENG and MAT courses.
Book Vouchers
Students wishing to use financial aid funds to make purchases in the bookstore will need a book voucher. Book Vouchers are available on designated dates each semester for qualifying students. For more details on book vouchers and to ensure your voucher is ready scan the QR code below.
