 If you are beginning at GTC with your general education courses prior to starting a Health
 Sciences program, it is strongly suggested that you complete a Career Talk session during
 your first semester. The Career Talk attendance is valid for two years. If you do not start
 the program within two years, you must complete another Career Talk session. Please
  contact specific programs for questions.
PLANNING AND TRANSFER HEADQUARTERS (PATH)

 The Planning and Transfer Headquarters (PATH) is an essential resource for students planning to continue their education at a four-year college or university. The PATH staff assists students in preparing for a smooth transition to other institutions by providing information, resources, and academic planning services.
TRansfer Tuesday and Thursday (PATH, CHLS Building (101)- First Floor)
§ Meet representatives from four-year colleges and universities on campus to learn more about the senior institutions and their transfer options.
§ Check Blackboard and College calendar for upcoming visits.
§ Visit on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am –1:00 pm (note some visits are
scheduled on Wednesday, too).
§ No appointment is necessary!

PACTeducation Program
The PACTeducation Program (Perkins Assistance for Career and Technical Programs) provides financial assistance for students who meet specific qualifications and are enrolled in eligible career and technical education programs. This program has been established through the Carl B. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins Grant) funding. Eligible programs earn one of the following credentials: Bachelor of Applied Science, Associate of Applied Science, Diploma of Applied Science, or Certificate of Applied Science. Qualified students must be part of at least one of the special populations outlined in the Carl B. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act. Each classification has a specific definition to be met, and some have multiple elements that must be met. Classifications are determined by the information provided on the program’s application.
