The STAR Center provides basic needs support for students in the following ways:
We operate the Caring Corner, a welcoming space for students to shop for groceries.
We maintain life necesssities availble monthly to students such has hygiene products,
household cleaners, diapers, and more.
Each day college students stop into the STAR Center to pick up two snacks from the Caring
Corner Grab and Go snack service. When requested, we can identify additional
community food resources and assist with SNAP applications.
We prepare food packages for current GTC students at Benson, Brashier, and Northwest
campuses and online students located in those campuses.
