STUDENT ACTIVITIES BOARD
The Student Activities Board (SAB) provides students a voice in student life and an opportunity to engage in the student life programming process on campus.
Who is SAB?
All registered GTC students may consider themselves a member of the SAB. Students seeking leadership opportunities may campaign for elected positions.
What does the SAB do?
The SBA typically sponsors activities such as student elections, leadership workshops, campus and community service projects, entertainment events, and support for other student organizations.
Who makes up the SAB?
The Student Activities Board consists of the President, Vice-President, Communications Officer, Managing Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Treasurer. The Student Activities Board consists of representatives for each campus. All representatives serve a term of one year, and officers serve up to a maximum term of two years.
How can you get involved?
Open meetings are held in which any student can attend to communicate questions, concerns, or ideas to help improve the college and student life programming. Meetings consist of the Student Activities Board members and the Student Cabinet throughout the year.
Students interested in participating in the Student Activities Board should contact Student Life by phone (864) 250-8019, email: studentlife@gvltec.edu or visit Student Center (105), Suite 201.
