The South Carolina Technical College System does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or pregnancy in educational programs and activities as required by Title IX. Any questions regarding Title IX may be referred to the college’s Title IX Coordinator or to the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights.
Any student, or other member of the college community, who believes that he/she is or has been a victim of sexual harassment or sexual violence may file a report with the college’s chief student services officer, campus law enforcement, or with the college’s Title IX coordinator, or designee. The Title IX coordinator’s office location, email address, and phone number are printed in the college’s catalog and appear on the Title IX webpage on the college’s website. Students may also contact any responsible employee, who has an obligation to report any claim of sexual harassment or sexual assault to the Title IX coordinator, or designee. The college will evaluate violations to their anti-bullying policy to determine if there is also a possible violation of Title IX.
