To print an immediate hard copy, go to www.irs.gov, under Tools, click on ‘Get Transcript of Your Tax Records’. Click on ‘Get Transcript ONLINE’. Create an account.
To have a hard copy mailed to you, go to www.irs.gov, under Tools, click on ‘Get Transcript of Your Tax Records, then click ‘Get Transcript by Mail.’ (longest method, takes 5-10 days).
Use the IRS DATA RETRIEVAL LINK on your FAFSA. This method automatically transfers your federal tax information from the IRS to your FAFSA. This is the recommended method and will eliminate the need for a paper transcript.
ACCEPT, ADJUST OR DECLINE YOUR STUDENT LOANS
 Log into my.hacc.edu.
 Select [FINANCIAL AID] tab.
 In the left column, click on view my financial aid award. Select the award year.
 Click on [ACCEPT AWARD OFFER] tab.
 Select your answer under accept award. You may choose to accept, accept a partial amount, or
decline.
 Click SUBMIT DECISION to finalize your decision.
 If you have never completed Entrance Counseling, you will see a link to www.studentloans.gov
(see next step).
COMPLETE DIRECT LOAN ENTRANCE COUNSELING
 Go to www.studentloans.gov.
 Click on LOG IN.
 Enter your FSA ID Username and Password (used for FAFSA).
 Verify that your personal information is correct.
 Select COMPLETE ENTRANCE COUNSELING.
 Select I AM AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT.
 Follow the instructions to complete the quiz.
 Once you complete the quiz, complete your Master Promissory Note (see next step).
COMPLETE YOUR MASTER PROMISSORY NOTE (MPN)
 Select YOU CAN SUBMIT A MASTER PROMISSORY NOTE (AT WWW.STUDENTLOANS.GOV).
 Select VIEW WHAT YOU NEED.
 Select SUBSIDIZED/UNSUBSIDIZED.
 Follow the instructions to complete your MPN.
SELECT YOUR BANKMOBILE REFUND METHOD
SELECT YOUR BANK MOBILE VIBE REFUND METHOD (A BANK MOBILE VIBE debit card is mailed to all registered students two weeks after the tuition due date. DO NOT DISCARD!)
 Log onto www.bankmobilevibe.com.
 Select GET STARTED.
 Enter your card number.
 Enter the requested information.
 Select your refund preference.
 Complete the setup options.
 Follow the steps in your confirmation email.
Do you have a ‘Federal tax return transcript’ requirement?
Grants, scholarships and the FIRST half of your loan will disburse approximately one month into the term, depending on when you begin classes. The SECOND half of your loan will disburse after the mid-point of each term. Be sure to plan ahead for expenses such as transportation, rent and child care!
