Students are responsible for the general care of their school
issued device and should not loan their device or charger to
others.
Devices must remain free of any writing, drawings, stickers,
or labels that are not the property of District Five. Students
must not remove any district applied labels from the device.
Students should never leave their device in any non-secure
location, such as an unlocked locker, car, or any unsupervised
areas where theft can occur. Do not leave the device in a hot
or cold vehicle as this can cause damage as well.
Students are responsible for keeping their devices battery
charged and bringing them to class each school day.
Failure to appropriately use the device and/or violation of
district policies will result in suspension of computer
privileges and disciplinary action.
Malfunctioning or damaged devices must be reported to the
teacher. A lost device must be reported within 24 hours. If
the device is not recovered, parents will be responsible for the
replacement cost of the device.
Students must return the device and power cord when
transferring or withdrawing.

under the technology department.
