Test Room Electronic Imaging and Photography Devices
Students may not bring into the standardized testing room any electronic device that can be used for communication, timing, or imaging. These devices include but are not limited to cell phones, pagers, beepers, headphones, stop watches, electronic translators, hand- held devices, PDAs, or any other electronic imaging or photographic device.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, students/parents/guardians should check the local television and radio stations for information regarding school closings and delays. The media should have applicable information by 6 a.m.
Lost/Stolen Items
The school is not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged on school property.
Lockers
Lockers (including locks) for the school year cost each student $5.00 (no refunds). No personal locks may be used for school lockers, and school policy prohibits students from sharing lockers or giving their combinations to others. Only school administrators can authorize students changing lockers. Students are responsible for damage to their lockers. Students having problems should check with the office. Locks and lockers are the property of James F. Byrnes High School and are subject to periodic inspection by the administration. Lockers may be opened by school administrators without students’ consent. Any item found in a student’s locker is deemed to be the property of the student to whom the locker is assigned.
