Communities in Schools (CIS) is a nationwide network of passionate professionals working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

ESOL means English for Speakers of Other Languages, also known as ESL (English as a Second Language). The ESOL Center is dedicated to serving students who come to LSC-North Harris to learn more English. ESOL Center services include orientation, applications, testing, advising, and registration.

LSC is committed to providing quality and friendly services to all international F-1 Visa students enrolled at our campuses. LSC-North Harris has an International Student Advisor to assist students with their International Student application, evidence of financial support, proof of English proficiency, and evidence of high school graduation or college-level work.
