Campus Safety
Lone Star College-North Harris employs commissioned peace officers and security guards. They provide typical police and security services, including criminal investigations, conflict mitigation, security escorts, traffic control, access control, and campus crime prevention.
The Police Department participates in various activities and campus outreach programs concerning issues such as active shooters, personal safety, crime prevention, domestic violence, and date/acquaintance rape.
The Police need your help and observation skills. You should always report things that are unusual or suspicious. When reporting an emergency, always stay on the line with the dispatcher until s/he ends the call. Provide the following information:
