Step 1
Complete a Student Concern/Complaint Form.
The form is available online at
gotoltc.edu/Assets/.../Formal%20Complaint-Concern%20Form.pdf
and in the Student Resource Center,
Career Placement Center and Student Services.
Step 2
The Enrollment Services Manager will meet with you to get initial information regarding the concern or
complaint that have been raised. The Enrollment Services Manager will also make every attempt to
meet with the other party/parties related to the shared concern to get additional information.
Step 3
The Enrollment Services Manager will attempt to resolve the concern or complaint by scheduling a
meeting with the parties involved. The Enrollment Services Manager will serve as a neutral third party
during this meeting which is designed to follow a process to resolve the concern informally. The goal of
the mediation process is to provide a resolution to the concern that is acceptable to both parties.
Step 4
If the mediation fails to resolve the matter, you will be referred to the appropriate LTC staff member to
help resolve the concern or complaint.
Step 5
If the matter isn’t resolved at Step 4, it would go to one of two Vice Presidents for a final decision. If
instructional in nature, the Vice President of Instruction would be the final step in the process. If the
matter involves anything other than instruction concerns, the Vice President of Student Services would
be the final step in the process.
