STUDENT CONDUCT altoona.psu.edu/student-conduct 103 Slep Student Center | 814-949-5065 The Office of Student Conduct creates a campus culture where civility and diversity are embraced. We strive to deliver an educational process that is fundamentally fair and a system that promotes student growth through shared responsibility. Through programs and services, we help students become responsible and contributing citizens within Penn State Altoona and our local communities. Our goal is to support the University’s educational mission by providing a safe, orderly, and positive University climate through enforcing behavioral standards, managing conduct proceedings, mentoring students, developing leadership, and fostering peer education. We aim to create a University culture that is self-disciplined, where civility is embraced, and norms and foundational beliefs validate the essential values of Penn State which are INTEGRITY, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, DISCOVERY, EXCELLENCE, and COMMUNITY. The University identifies unacceptable student behavior in the Code of Conduct. You should familiarize yourself with the expectations of the Code of Conduct and allow it to guide you through your everyday decision-making, both in and out of the classroom. Knowing what is considered acceptable and honorable behavior is often the first step to making good decisions in your everyday life. Let the Code of Conduct guide your moral compass in the right direction. For the glory of Old State, know and uphold the Code.
