Career counselors can explain occupations and how they relate to academic majors, help students gain experience in their majors, and help them create a LinkedIn profile. The Effective Career Decision Making course is offered for 3 elective credits to first-year and sophomore students who are undecided about their major or career. There are multiple career fairs offered each semester, and students are encouraged to take advantage of the Career Closet where they can borrow professional business attire and padfolios for interviews, career fairs, and networking events.
