Community Service There are many community service programs sponsored by student organizations and the CSCE. To get involved, contact us, or visit the “Be a Citizen” section of our website. Social Programming and Major Events A robust offering of entertaining and fun events are offered each week on campus. Power Hours take place each Tuesday and there is always a program held Friday evenings. Student Government Association The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official governing body of students at Penn State Altoona. SGA advocates on behalf of students to college faculty and administration and to the University via the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments.
