Disability Services
Disability Services coordinates reasonable accommodations for students in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) of 1990 (as amended in 2008). Student Basic Needs
It can be challenging to do your best in class if you have trouble meeting basic needs, like having a safe place to live and sleep and/or have difficulty feeding yourself and/or your family. Food Pantries
Roane State is working to address the problem of food insecurity by offering students access to campus food pantries at the Cumberland County, Roane County, and Oak Ridge campuses. While the smaller campuses do not offer full service food pantries, all campuses have shelf-stable snacks available, usually in the lounge areas of the campus. http://www.roanestate.edu/pantry
Housing Resources
Roane State recognizes that there are times when students may face issues of housing insecurity which can include not having enough money to the pay the mortgage or the rent, not being able to pay utilities, and/or not having a safe place to live and sleep. Learning Center

Athletics
RSCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) division and offers men and women the opportunity to compete in sports like baseball, basketball, golf, softball, and volleyball. Graduation

Transcript
Students who need to have official copies of transcripts sent to licensing boards and other colleges/ universities may request them online through their Raidernet account or completing a Request for Transcript form in the One Stop or other campus office.
