ACADEMIC SUPPORT /// Each USF campus offers free tutoring and writing consultations to all actively
Tutoring & Writing Support (All campuses) enrolled students to give extra help when it’s needed.
USF offers subject-specific tutoring assistance in various subjects, including
math, science, and humanities. Students can receive help on a drop-in basis or by scheduling appointments and the sessions are offered in-person or virtually. For help outside office hours, USF has partnered with Pear Deck Tutoring for online tutoring support, which can be access via your Canvas course (look for it in the side navigation bar).
Free writing consultations are available from experienced writing consultants, who guide students through their writing goals and concerns. Students can discuss their drafts, assisgnment guidelines, and questions either in-person or online.
