The Office of Community Standards fosters a community of support and care through accountability, responsibility, and education. The Office of Community Standards upholds The University of Texas System Board of Regents’ Rules & Regulations, the University of Texas at El Paso Handbook of Operating Procedures, along with all federal, state, and local laws. Any student that violates any of these policies is subject to discipline, whether the behavior occurs on or off campus or if civil or criminal proceedings are being pursued.
