INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS provides immigra- tion services and cultural programming for in- ternational students (F-1 visa holders), exchange visitors (J-1 visa holders), and dependent family members (F-2/J-2), to assist them in maintaining valid immigration status and adjusting to life in the US. We also administer the PASE (Programa de Asistencia Estudiantil), an out-of-state tuition waiver program for Mexican students with dem- onstrated financial need.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RECRUITMENT acts as a connection between UTEP Admissions (undergradate and graduate), colleges, schools, academic departments, as well as administra- tive offices and services. We communicate with prospective international students (and their parents/guidance counselors) to encourage students to
become involved members of the UTEP community.
