Housing and Residence Life fosters a safe, high- impact, supportive, and inclusive community that promotes student success and develop- ment. Students who live on campus are more likely to graduate on time, have a higher GPA, and be more satisfied with their college experi- ence than students who live off campus. Housing and Residence Life at UTEP provides students with a safe and secure learning environment that eliminates the stress of a daily commute. Stu-
dents have more flexibility in scheduling courses throughout the day, rather than needing to plan back-to-back courses to minimize trips to and from campus.
Housing and Residence Life is proud to play a role in educating UTEP students outside the class- room. We are dedicated to enhancing the academic experience of residential students while offering programs and opportunities for involvement that add value to the in-class experience and prepare students to meet lifelong intellectual, ethical and career challenges.
