JEFFERSON STUDENT UNION
Located in the heart of campus, Jefferson Union can be found inside the Student Activities Complex. Jefferson Union is open from 7am until midnight, Sunday through Monday and includes Jazzman’s Café and Jefferson Union Snack Bar. The facility features dining areas, a patio, integrated technology, a stage, large-scale sound and video entertainment, fire places, a kitchenette, and spaces for leisure activities, gaming, and meetings. Also located within the Student Activities Complex are the Bell Recreation Center, Physical Education Complex, Aquatic Center, and Bowling Center.
Jefferson Student Union Café
Sodexo Campus Services is proud to offer Vincennes University students, faculty and staff a convenient and unique dining experience in the Jefferson Student Union (JSU). Visit the JSU Café or Jazzmans Brew & Bakery. All food may be ordered to go or eaten in the beautiful 150 seat dining area. The public is welcome to dine during all hours.
“Flex Dollars” are another special feature at the JSU. The Flex Dollar program enables commuters and resident students as well as faculty and staff to purchase menu items using their VU I.D. card rather than using cash. For further details, contact Sodexo Customer Service at 888-5841 or 888.5089. Flex Dollars may be purchased as part of the resident dining program or independently.
Old Post Bookstore

Located in the Beckes Student Union Building the campus bookstore is where you will find all your school supplies and textbooks. Be sure to check out our textbook rental program as well as digital textbooks. The Bookstore is the official source for Vincennes University apparel, mugs, hats, and other items with the VU logo. You can also find needed health and beauty items, a large assortment of greeting cards, and a wide variety of snacks and drinks. The Bookstore also offers a Fax Service, both sending and receiving. To purchase textbooks and merchandise online, visit http://vubookstore.vinu.edu. The bookstore accepts cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

The Student Activities office is the hub for all activities and events on campus. Each semester students pay an activity fee to support opportunities sponsored through the student activities office. In return for paying the student activities fee, the student receives: admission to every major campus event and athletic event at no additional cost or charge. Stop by to get involved and find out what’s going on around campus.

Student Government Association and Campus Activities Board

The Executive Council of the Student Government Association (SGA), and the Campus Activities Board (CAB) form the nucleus of campus activities. The Executive Council of SGA consists of: President, Vice President/Interclub Liaison, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, and Finance Coordinator; and the Student Trustee.
Elections for the SGA Executive Council are held at the end of the spring semester. Application forms are available in Student Activities approximately 3 weeks prior to each election. Completed applications must be returned to Student Activities. A ballot is then established and an all-campus election is held. The remainder of the SGA representatives are appointed in the fall. The
