What do I do if I apply and it says I already have an account? You can retrieve your username/password by using your email or security questions. *Remember this information will be from when you first applied. If that does not work, then you will need to contact OpenCCC at email: support@openccc.net (TTY: 877-836-9332) and they can reset your information. If they are able to verify you over the phone, then you can apply the same day if not then it can be 1-2 days before you are able to apply.
What do I do if I cannot access the MyVVC portal or my passwords are not working? Contact the VVC IT Helpdesk at servicedesk@vvc.edu or call 760-372-7500.
How do I access my student email? Access your student email through Gmail. Use your student WebAdvisor username. Your birthday is your password in the following format Mmmddyyyy (i.e. Jun211995). Connect your student email with your personal email. Your student email is the primary form of communication from the school, ALL VVC communication from either staff or faculty will be sent to your student email. Check it often!

I need help to pass my classes. There is 24/7 online tutoring through Net Tutor which requires that you set up an account in CANVAS. Go to www.vvc.edu and you will see the link for CANVAS under quick links at the top of the screen. Communicate with your instructors to see what else they might recommend, visit the ATC (Tutoring Center, Writing Center, Math Lab, and study group spaces), and check out additional resources on the vvc.edu website. Counselors are also available to discuss your challenges. Visit the Counseling Webpage https://www.vvc.edu/vvc-counseling to learn about setting up a counseling appointment remotely.
