Get Involved
First year students looking to get involved can apply to be appointed as one of
two first-year Senators at the beginning of Fall Term. Outside of regular
elections held each Winter (for Officers and Class Representatives) and Spring
(for Liaison Senator Positions), there are a variety of appointments to make each
term, both for open Senate seats and for various college committees. These will
be publicized through posters, banners, emails, and on our website. Feel free to
email any of the Officers or Senators with questions.
CSA Senate holds open meetings every Monday (7:00 p.m., Great Hall) in order
to, among many things, approve funding recommendations from CSA Budget
Committee, discuss updates from various College committees and Senator
projects, and pass resolutions. Any student is welcome to email the President
with a concern or topic to discuss at a meeting. Members of CSA Senate are
always present at these meetings.
