How will I get to know others living in my community?
Within each community, RAs, CCs and
the Community Council host programs in order for you to engage with others. For instance, you are encouraged to attend First 54 programs which occur throughout campus during the first six weeks of the fall semester. In addition, some buildings have a lounge where students congregate and get to know each other.
What if I am having difficulties with my roommate after we move in?
You are encouraged to inform your RA. While each RA will schedule time to meet with all of their residents within the first few weeks of the semester to develop roommate agreements, this meeting can be scheduled earlier if needed. During the meeting, you and your roommates will develop agreements for living together. If roommate conflicts persist, the RA will be available to mediate concerns.
