STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Student Union (SU), Room 240 253-931-6450
The Associated Students of Green River College (ASGRC) is the officially recognized student voice for the students of Green River. As an integral part of the college structure, the ASGRC handles student complaints, provides funding for campus clubs, athletics and activities and reports on student needs and welfare directly to the administration and college’s board
of trustees.
Getting involved in the ASGRC offers students a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and support the success
of their college peers. Official selection
of senators is done in the spring and fall, however there are occasionally openings during the school year. All meetings are open to anyone and are on Thursdays in the Mel Lindbloom Student Union (SU).
Please check the Campus Life Canvas for times of Senate meetings. Students may participate on college committees such
as the 522 Budget committee, Green River Diversity and Equity Council (GDEC), technology fee, and commencement speaker selection. Contact the student government office for more information.
