Student Financial Services facilitates the following support services: payment of tuition and related college fees, vehicle registration and distribution of student parking passes.
Student Financial Obligations
All outstanding amounts resulting from nonpayment of tuition and fees are the responsibility of the student. Withdrawal from school, officially or unofficially, will not cancel any financial obligation already incurred. Failure to pay all financial obligations may result in debts being turned over to a collection agency. Collection
fees, including attorney fees and other charges necessary for the collection of any amount due,
will be added to the student’s account balance. Students who default on any financial obligations to Green River College are responsible for collection fees, attorney fees, court fees, and other reasonable costs and expenses incurred in the collection of any debt, in accordance with RCW 28B.10.293 and RCW 19.16.500.
PLACEMENT AND TESTING CENTER

The Placement and Testing Center offers evaluation of documents for placement and Green River assessments for English and math eligibility, as well as make-up and accommodated testing for Green River classes.
Some selective admissions health occupations programs require admissions exams, available at the Testing Center. Proctored testing for the GED®, and other Pearson VUE administered tests, as well as tests for other institutions and agencies is also available. All testing activity requires a photo ID card. Testers will be required to store all belongings in lockers while testing and should plan to leave large bags in another secure location.

CTCLINK ACCOUNT AND STUDENT EMAIL ACTIVATION

Once admitted to Green River College, students will need to activate their ctcLink and Student Email accounts. Directions and tutorials for activating ctcLink accounts are available on greenriver. edu/ctcLink/students/tutorials. Students can visit greenriver.edu/student-email to look up student email address with their last name on record, date of birth, and ctcLink ID number. Students receive valuable information regarding campus updates and activities in their Green River student email account. The college will use this address for official communication with all students.
Student Identification Number
All students are assigned a ctcLink ID number when their application for admission has been processed. This is the number students use for all transactions at the college. Students who forget or lose their assigned ctcLink ID should bring their photo identification to the Office of the Registrar to obtain their number.

classes for upcoming quarters. Students can enroll in classes, pay for tuition and fees, and monitor progress online in their ctcLink account. Dates to enroll are announced by the college each quarter and are published online in the Academic Calendar and in the quarterly schedule publication.
Enrollment Eligibility
Students are eligible to enroll once they have completed their Getting Started Steps. Current
and returning students will be issued an enrollment appointment time based on the total number of credits already completed. Transfer students will have their credits from other colleges added to their total number of completed Green River credits the quarter after they are translated.
New students will be issued an enrollment appointment time once their Getting Started Steps have been completed.
