Student Life events are open to all LSC-North Harris, CHI, Health Professions Building, & East Aldine students. For most events, the student’s LSC student ID must be presented. More events will be added, so watch the campus bulletin boards and web calendar to find out more information on these and other activities. Don’t miss out on all the fun!
Leadership Development
The Office of Student Life is committed to assisting students in exploring and developing leadership skills. In addition to experiential learning through involvement in student organizations, there are several opportunities through formalized programs.
• LoneStarLeadershipCollege–ThisLSCsystem-wideleadership program is one you do not want to miss out on! Students go into the community to visit with established leaders to network and learn more about their systems. Students commit to participating for a full academic year, and the cohort of students meets throughout the fall and spring semesters. Applications are due September 13. • RSOWorkshops–StudentLifepresentsannualworkshopsfor Registered Student Organization (RSO) officers. Topics include risk management, event planning, and effective communication. RSO officers are required to attend one workshop each semester:
o North Harris: September 24 & 25 and January 27 & 28
o East Aldine: TBA
