Weather-Related Information:
 Check the Northeast State web site for weather-related class
cancellations and/or campus closings. Read the Inclement Weather Policy at www.NortheastState.edu/Weather.
Active Shooter Situations:
 Remember RUN, HIDE, FIGHT in that order. Run is the best option. If you
cannot run, hide. The last resort is to fight.
 When law enforcement arrives, remain calm and follow instructions.
 Raise your hands and spread your fingers. Keep your hands visible at all
times.
Hostage Situations:
 Same as Active Shooter situations except do not fight if the person or
persons have not used deadly force.
Suspicious Object:
 Immediately report to Campus Police and notify your instructor.
 Keep others at a safe distance from the object.
