\\\ INVOLVEMENT Multicultural Affairs (All campuses)
The Office of Multicultural Affairs support student leaders in developing leadership skills and multicultural competencies by coordinating student-led educational, cultural, and social programs to foster experiences for USF students which create interculturally mature global citizens who are prepared to thrive in a global society. These programs help students understand and appreciate each other’s talents and contributions, thus creating an environment enabling students to become conscientious global citizens.
The Multicultural Programming Boards plan educational, social, and cultural events
throughout the year–all designed to provide attendees with memory-making
experiences, opportunities to connect with others and learn about each other,
and find community. These programs or activities are student funded (See Florida BOG Regulation 9.016(1)(a)8a and 9.016(2) and SB 266 (section 1004.06(2), Florida Statutes).
Whether you participate as an attendee or get more involved by joining our board or volunteering, we can’t wait to see you at any or all of our events!

New Student Connections (Tampa & Sarasota-Manatee)
New Student Connections (NSC) is your guide to an extraordinary campus experience! Whether you’re a first-year student or transferring to USF, NSC is here to guide you. Our goal is to cultivate community, foster a sense of belonging, and provide individualized support so each person feels cared for, sees possibilities, and accesses USF resources.
We have well-trained staff and student peer coaches called Peer Advisor Leaders (PALs) who invest their time and energy to help you navigate college life as a Bull. With firsthand experience of what it means to transition into USF, they are your go-to coach, friend, and peer on campus.
NSC hosts signature programs throughout the year including but not limited to Week of Welcome (WOW), #HowToCollege series, and the First 56, which help you connect with campus and other Bulls! Stay connected with us on BullsConnect.
