FINANCIAL AID
MIKE LOYA ACADEMIC SERVICES BUILDING, ROOM 204 WWW.UTEP.EDU/FINANCIALAID STUDENTFINANCIALAID@UTEP.EDU 915.747.5204
The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) recog- nizes the fact that many students face financial difficulty in pursuing a college education. Approxi- mately 70% of our current students are receiving some form of financial assistance. The financial aid process is not complicated, but it does require effort and planning on the part of the student.
The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholar- ships provides current and prospective UTEP stu- dents with the necessary financial aid information
to assist students with the pursuit of a higher education degree. The Office strives to help our demographically diverse student population eliminate financial barriers so that our students may succeed in achieving their educational goals.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAF- SA) becomes available every October 1st. Students should complete the online form at studentaid.gov as soon as possible for the upcoming school year.
