Office Hours - Your instructors schedule office hours outside of class. This is time when you can make an appointment to discuss the course, topics you don’t understand, challenges you are having, or questions about the discipline. You are encouraged to meet with each instructor during the semester.
Parking Permit & Fees - Parking permits are required Monday thru Saturday. Semester permits can be purchased on-line by visiting https://www.paymycite.com/vvc/parkingpermit.aspx or calling 1-800-535-2421.
Daily permits can be purchased at the dispensers. Additional parking is available at the meters. Permits are not valid in metered stalls.
Parking/Traffic Rules & Regulations - All vehicles parked at the College must abide by VVC parking rules & regulations https://www.vvc.edu/parking-rules-regulations. Individuals who park on district property do so at their own risk. Victor Valley College does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked anywhere on District property. Vehicles may be issued citations for illegal parking (head-in parking only), failure to display a valid parking permit, or any other violation including California Vehicle Code violations.
PEAK Food Pantry - The PEAK Pantry provides free basic food supplies to VVC students with a current Student ID Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. upstairs in the SAC (Bldg. 44). Information and registration assistance for CalFRESH is also available to address long term needs. Our goal is to inspire hope and academic excellence as we respect the dignity of each student we serve.
Prerequisite - Requirement that a student must meet prior to enrolling in a particular course. Completing a more basic course or obtaining a minimum score on a placement exam may be required. Prerequisites for courses are listed in both the schedule of classes and the college catalog.
Scholarships - Most scholarships are awarded based on a combination of financial need and academic achievement. A variety of scholarships are made possible through the Victor Valley College Foundation each Spring. Information is available on their website. www.vvc.edu/scholarship-information

Payment Deadline - All fees are due at time of registration and must be paid or a payment plan in place - prior to the first day of instruction. For more information, please contact the Bursar's Office.
