& Babe, or rent a Nice Ride bike and loop around Lake Bemidji.

You’re here for a great education but we hope you’ll get involved outside of the classroom too. Getting involved in
student organizations and leadership opportunities will help you to develop important skills like organization and time
management, communication and networking. Your involvement in campus activities and student organizations will
help you make friends and create memories of your time at BSU.
Beaver Organization Bash: Thursday, September 13th, 4:30-7 p.m., Lakeside Lawn
Once you’ve settled into your classes, attend the Beaver Organization Bash to visit with student organizations. Find
out what they’re about, when they meet and how you can get involved. Enjoy our traditional fall picnic and pick up
great free stuff!

BeaverLink is your source for getting involved! Log on through myBSU to discover all of our student organizations. Fill
out your profile, reach out to the student contacts, become an organization member, and track all of your involvement
and service hours in one place to make it easy to build your resume through the student involvement transcript. Watch
for educational sessions about BeaverLink all through September.

Watch for great events sponsored by the Campus Activities Board. Speakers, musicians, comedians, magicians, large
socials like Beavers After Dark and more will help you to meet new friends, relieve stress, get free stuff, and make
great BSU memories.

The HMU, your student union, is a great place to connect with friends, study and attend event and activities. Grab
lunch in Lakeside Dining, attend one of our evening socials or just hang out in the Terrace Lounge watching TV or
playing pool.
