Orientation Welcome/
General Info
Bemidji State University believes one of the most important experiences for every
student is Orientation. New Student Orientation is the kick-off of the academic year
for all students new to Bemidji State University, both as first-time college students and
transfer students.
• Make sure you’re checked-in. Residence hall students will receive their orientation
badge when they check into their residence hall. Off campus students should check
in at the Ballroom Entrance to Hobson Memorial Union (on Birchmont Dr.) between
1-2:15 p.m.
• Make sure to keep your Orientation Badge with you at all times. It’ll help you find
your orientation leader, get you into all of our events, and get you a free orientation
t-shirt.
• Orientation Central is located in the Lobby of the Hobson Memorial Union Ballroom
on Friday, and in our Bucky’s Guide Service canopy the rest of the weekend.
