142 their last name on record, date of birth, and ctcLink ID number. Students receive valuable information regarding campus updates and activities in their Green River student email account. Student Identification Number All students are assigned a ctcLink ID number when their application for admission is processed. This number is used for all transactions at Green River, as well as any other college in our Washington Community and Technical College system. Students who forget or lose their assigned ctcLink ID number should bring their photo identification to the Office of the Registrar to obtain their number. Enrollment Process The primary means of enrolling in credit courses for all students is through the Manage Classes tile in their ctcLink account. Computer kiosks are available in the Office of the Registrar, Welcome Desk, Career and Advising Center, and Student Life lobbies, as well as in the Holman and Tech Center. Last Day to Enroll Students may enroll in classes through the third (3rd) day of the quarter for fall, winter, spring and through the second (2nd) day of the quarter for summer. Beginning the fourth day of the quarter (third in summer), students must get instructor permission for each course they wish to add. The only exceptions to this policy are identified late start and continuous enrollment courses as indicated in description on the class search. Class Changes Students should consult an advisor before adding or dropping classes. If using a funding source, they should consult with their funding provider before making schedule changes. Students who find it necessary to change their schedules after the third day of classes must submit the request to the Office of the Registrar with photo ID, or through the Secure Document Upload tool, www.greenriver.edu/upload, on the Green River website. Changes are not official unless the Office of the Registrar has processed the request. Students should always keep a copy of their schedule after changes have been completed. Withdrawal from Classes Students may withdraw from classes online in their ctcLink account or by submitting the request to the Office of the Registrar through the eighth (8th) week of fall, winter and spring quarters and the fifth (5th) week of summer quarter. All enrollment deadlines are listed in the OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR Student Affairs (SA), Room 280, (253) 288-3383 Enrollment is the process of scheduling classes for upcoming quarters. Students can enroll in classes, pay for tuition and fees, and monitor academic progress online in their ctcLink account. Enrollment dates are published online in the Academic Calendar. Enrollment Eligibility Students are eligible to enroll once they have completed their Getting Started Steps, www.greenriver.edu/students/academics/ getting-started. Current and returning students will be issued an enrollment appointment time based on the total number of credits already completed. Transfer students will have their credits from other colleges added to their total number of completed Green River credits the quarter after they are evaluated. New students will be issued an enrollment appointment time once their Getting Started Steps have been completed. 142
