The Student Center is closed during Winter and May Mini-Terms.
Special hours will be posted when the facility is reserved for special
events or when staff is needed to assist with other campus events.
Located on the second floor above the cafeteria, the Student Center is a
social hub on campus. The facility features comfortable seating, tables
for eating or studying, pool tables, ping pong tables, foosball, air
hockey, student organization offices, student organization meeting
rooms, and Student Life offices. Students can check out equipment and
board games from the front desk of the Student Center. Students must
present their LSC student IDs and be registered in the current term to
utilize the facility and services.
Campus Life
Numerous social, recreational, cultural, leadership, and educational
programs are planned for students at LSC-North Harris and the Victory
and Greenspoint Centers. Some of our most popular events planned
through Student Life include:
• Involvement Fair – Attend the Involvement Fair to find out more
about student organizations and how you can get involved.
North Harris: September 6-7 and January 23-24
Victory Center: September 12 and January 25
Greenspoint Center: September 13 and January 22
• Kids’ Night Out – Students and employees are invited to bring the
kiddos in their lives (children, little siblings, nieces/nephews, etc.)
for an evening of fun and food on campus. Kids’ Night Out this
year will have a Halloween “Trunk-or-Treat” theme.
