Service Animal Policy  
Lakeshore Technical College  allows  the  use  of  service  animals  by  persons with  documented  needs on  
the  LTC  campuses. The  intent  of  LTC  is  to meet  the  needs  of  the  entire  campus  community  in  an  
atmosphere  of  open  communication  and  inclusion.  
If  you  have  questions  about  receiving  accommodations  or would  like  to  schedule  an  appointment,  
please  contact Accommodation Services,  at  920.693.1222.  
ADVISING  
Academic Advisors  are  here  to  help  students  plan  their  educational  path  and  achieve  their  career  goals.    
The LTC website has a  short, on-­line  career assessment available  to  students who are undecided about  
their program  choice. Click on  “Explore Careers” on  the LTC home page.  In addition, LTC advisors  can  
offer more  in-­depth assistance with  career assessment and academic program  selection. Advisors help  
students with program and  course  selection, admissions assistance and  financial aid advising.  
You  can  schedule  an  appointment  for  this  service  by  calling  920.693.1109.  
AUTO REPAIR  
The Automotive Maintenance and Auto Repair  technician programs accept  requests  for auto  repairs  that  
align with  their  coursework at a  reduced  cost  (materials/supplies only). Visit gotoltc.edu/auto-­request  to  view  
the  repair  schedule and  submit a work  request. For more  information,  contact 920-­693-­1205.  
CAREER  PLACEMENT  
LTC’s Career Placement Center  coordinates  resources  and  services  that  help  facilitate  student  
transition  from  college  to work.  Learning  and  networking  opportunities  through  various  student  success  
initiatives,  including  employment  development  seminars, workshops,  and  consultation,  as well  as  
resources  on  the  college website  such  as  online  graduate  placement  information  and  links  to  job  search  
and  labor market  information. Walk-­in  hours  and  one-­on-­one  appointments  are  also  available. Visit

Wisconsin TechConnect
 is  the Wisconsin Technical College System’s  official  employment  link  for  
Wisconsin  technical  college  students  and  graduates  to  find  job  openings  and  internships  posted  by  
employers. All  LTC  students  have  full  access  to TechConnect  jobs  from  college  computers  on  campus  
that  have  internet  connectivity  through  the  LTC  network.    
To  be  eligible  for  full  access/service  from Wisconsin TechConnect:    
 You must  be  an  LTC  student  in  an Associate Degree, Technical Diploma,  or  
certificate  program  and  currently  enrolled  in  LTC  classes      -­OR-­  
 Already  be  an  official  LTC  graduate  of  an Associate Degree  or Technical Diploma  
program.
 Your  LTC Student  ID,  last  name,  and  graduated(ing)  program must match  the  
validation  file  in  the Wisconsin TechConnect  database  system.  
 Service  is  renewable  by  extending  access  in  your TechConnect  account.
