LIBRARY  
The  LTC  Library  provides  a  learner-­centered  environment where  students,  staff,  and  community  
members  can  access  information  through  a  variety  of  educational  and  technological  resources  
responsive  to  users'  needs.  
Physical Resources
Students with  an  LTC  ID  number may  borrow  physical  library materials  such  as  books,  journals,  
audiovisual,  course  textbooks  and more.  Items  can  be  searched  through  the  library  catalog. Check  out  
periods  vary  by  item.    Students may  also  request  books,  articles,  and  other  library materials  through  
interlibrary  loan. There  is  no  cost  for  Interlibrary  loan  service;;  however,  you  are  financially  responsible  
for  any  items  checked  out  to  your  account  that  are  overdue,  unreturned  (missing  or  stolen),  or  broken.
Most  library materials may  be  renewed  in  person,  over  the  phone  920.693.1130,  by  email

Online Resources
The  library  provides  access  to  eBooks,  streaming  films,  and  databases  containing  journal  and  
newspaper  articles. Access  the  library  catalog  and  article  databases  24/7  through  the  library’s website  
An  LTC Student  ID  number  and  network  password  (how  you  log  into  campus  
computers)  are  required  to  access  online materials  off-­campus.
Devices & Equipment
Laptops,  tablets,  and  electronic  devices  (iPads, Surfaces, Galaxy Tabs, Kindle Fires)  are  available  to  
current  LTC Students  enrolled  in  at  least  one  undergraduate-­level  course. Borrowers  need  an  LTC  
Student  ID  card  and may  check  out  one  device  at  a  time. Various  equipment  (power  cords,  cellphone  
cords,  headphones,  portable DVD  players,  calculators,  scanners,  flash  drives,  etc.)  is  available  for

Orientations/Resource  Sessions
Sessions  are  given  at  the  beginning  of  each  semester  as  drop-­in,  group,  or  one-­on-­one  sessions.  
Students  are  informed  about  services  such  as Academic Support & Tutoring,  devices  and  equipment  
available  for  checkout, Student Technology Support,  as well  as  databases,  eBooks,  and  streaming

Study Rooms
Rooms  for  quiet  and  group  study  are  available  on  a  first  come,  first-­served  basis with  priority  given  to  
current  LTC Students. Checkout  period  is  two-­hours with  opportunity  to  renew  if  no  one  is waiting  for  a  
room. Each  room  is  an  enclosed  space with  a  table,  chairs,  desktop  computer, whiteboard,  and  dry  
erase markers.
