HOW TO ACCESS YOUR LTC TECHNOLOGY
LTC NETWORK/CAMPUS COMPUTER LOGIN

INITIAL PASSWORD:
1st two letters of first name, 1st two of last name, last 4 of SSN (or last 4 of
Student ID #, if SSN not provided) Ex: josm1234
At first login, you will be required to change your password (this will set your email password as
well). New password criteria:
• Contain at least 8 characters
• Contain at least one uppercase letter
• Contain at least one lowercase letter
• Contain at least one number (0-9)
• NOT contain first, last, or username

KEY POLICY HIGHLIGHTS FOR STUDENTS
The College’s technical resources are provided for the benefit of the College and its faculty, staff, and students. These
resources are provided for use in the pursuit of College business or College education. Use of college technical resources
are a privilege, not a right, as such, the following rules and regulations apply to all users.
No person shall make copies or distribute copyrighted material (e.g. software, database files, documentation, articles,
graphic files, music, movies, and downloaded information) through the email system or by any other means unless you
have written permission from the author of those materials.
All LTC technical resources are owned by the college and are subject to monitoring, including email.
All information created or received for work purposes and contained in College computing equipment files, servers, or
electronic mail (email) depositories are public records owned by the college and are available to the public unless an
exception to the Wisconsin Public Records Law applies.
Email accounts of students who have graduated or who have not been enrolled in classes for a period of 6 months will
be disabled. After an additional 6 month period, the account will be deleted if the student has not re-enrolled in classes.
Using the ideas, data, or language of another without specific or proper acknowledgement is strictly prohibited.
