The career development process can be exciting, trying and life-changing: sometimes all at
once. The Center for Career and Employer Relations offers career counseling, career guidance
tools and career support services to facilitate the career planning process. Workshops focusing
on career planning, employment skills, personal financial management, and job search
strategies, including assistance with resume development and interviewing, are also available.
An additional service of the Center is the facilitation of job shadowing opportunities. The
Student Services Office on the Jasper Campus services as a liaison to this office on the
Vincennes Campus.
Internships and

art-time Jobs
Internships provide students with valuable practical experience related to their major and may
be the link to successful placement after graduation. The Center for Career and Employer
Relations provides access to internship opportunities available. We also provide a listing of
part-time jobs on-campus as well as off-campus to assist students financially and enhance
academic study with “on- the-job” experience.
Career Counseling
Career counseling is available to assist students with their career planning needs. Assistance is
available for students who are undecided on a major or interested in researching program
options available at Vincennes University. Students, interested in continuing their education
after completion of their associate degree, may utilize the resources at the Center to research
educational options for transfer. Adults, re-entering the workforce or considering a career
transition, may also contact the Center for Career and Employer Relations for assistance.
Student ID Cards – Blazer One Card
Vincennes University Student ID cards are called Blazer One Cards. Blazer One cards will be
mailed to the address that you have confirmed on your student portal, which should be your
permanent address the school has on file. If you need the card mailed to a different address
please stop by the Administration Office prior to confirming your address. You will be
charged to replace a card sent to the wrong address.
Activating the Blazer One Card also allows students to select a refund preference, which is the
method by which they will receive any financial refund from VU. Activation is easy, just log

Lost or stolen cards may be replaced by going to

Administration Office. You will need to be logged into your account to report your card lost
or stolen. Bank Mobile will deactivate your card and mail a replacement card to your
permanent address immediately.
