STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Whether you are looking for an organization that aligns with your academic
program, your personal interests or something completely out of the ordinary, we
have more than 20 active student organizations to get you involved! Check out
the Current Student tab on the Sandburg website for a complete listing of Student
Organizations.
If you are interested in creating a new club or organization, contact the
Coordinator of Student Life for an application and information about the

CLERY CRIME REPORT
The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act, Public Law 101-542, as
amended by the Higher Education Technical Amendments of 1991, Public Law 102-
26, mandates that colleges provide specific information to students and prospective
students. In compliance with this law, Carl Sandburg College presents the following

TECH HELP
Sandburg TECH HELP provides professional, quick and courteous technical and
hardware support for students, faculty and staff. Visit in person in the Library on

TRANSFER SERVICES
The Transfer Services Coordinator provides students with information about
transferring to four-year colleges and universities and insight on courses that
will transfer. Transfer Services also sets up college visits and assists students with
the university application process. Office is located in E100, the Student Services
office.

TRIO STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a program that helps you graduate and
transfer to a 4-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. TRIO SSS
provides personalized advising and coaching in the areas of degree planning,
academics, transferring, career and major exploration, and financial aid and
financial literacy. We also offer leadership opportunities, fun events, and personal
support. The TRIO SSS program is 100% funded by a grant from the U.S. Department
of Education ($226,600 in 16-17) and has limited spaces available, so an application
is required and students must meet certain eligibility criteria to join. Visit their office

TUTORING SERVICES
Academic Support Services provides a variety of tutoring services, all free to Carl
Sandburg College students. The Tutoring Center offers individualized assistance in
