Harassment/Discrimination Policy
Fox Valley Technical College will provide equal opportunity in educational programs and services
to all persons regardless of age, race, color, creed, religion, disability, marital status, parental status,
sex, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, or pregnancy unless such status relates to a bona fide
academic qualification. A discrimination grievance procedure can be followed when discrimination or

Sexual Misconduct
Fox Valley Technical College prohibits all forms of illegal gender and sex-based discrimination,
examples of which may include, but are not limited to, acts of sexual violence, sexual harassment,
domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. All members of the campus community are expected
to conduct themselves in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. FVTC has a zero
tolerance policy for gender and sex-based discrimination, and seeks to create and maintain a campus free
from sexual misconduct. All complaints of sexual misconduct should be directed to Security Services,

Smoke/Tobacco Free Campus
All Fox Valley Technical College campuses and leased facilities, including the grounds, are tobacco-free
as part of the College’s effort to create a safer and healthier environment for students, faculty and staff,
and visitors to the College. A tobacco-free campus will prohibit use of all tobacco products including,
but not limited to, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and chewing tobacco, in all buildings
and vehicles owned and leased by FVTC. For the complete policy, visit

Weapons Policy
General Prohibition
The use, placement, concealment, creation, manufacture, transportation, or possession of weapons and/
or potentially dangerous devices in FVTC buildings (owned, or leased), FVTC owned vehicles, or at an
FVTC sponsored event as defined in Sec. 943.13 (1e)(h), Wis. Stats. held on public or private property
off campus which is posted is strictly prohibited, except as expressly permitted. For the complete

Workplace Threats or Violence

ox Valley Technical College is committed to providing a safe and secure working and learning
environment for students, employees, guests, and visitors. This policy applies to all college owned or
leased facilities including offices, classrooms, work sites, vehicles, and field locations and includes any
