The Office for Tutoring and Testing
The Office for Tutoring and Testing provides tutorial assistance in academic skills development on a
walk-in or referral basis. The Center is staffed with professional and peer tutors who assist students
seeking to improve their skills in reading, writing, ESL, accounting, economics, math computation,
problem solving, science, computer literacy, speech, and academic survival. All inquiries regarding
these and other services should be directed to the Office for Tutoring and Testing, located in Whitaker
Hall 123.

This free service can be accessed through your MyHACC portal.
Test Center
The Test Center provides academic testing for students who need to make up an exam missed during
class. Students must make arrangements with the instructor for the make-up exam to be available in
the Test Center (W118).
The Test Center is not for Disability Services testing accommodations.
The
Test Center is located in Whitaker Hall, Room 118.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Support
: ESL students may participate in regular conversation
practice sessions and may receive help with grammar in the Writing Center.
