Campus Safety
Lone Star College-North Harris employs commissioned peace officers
and security guards. They provide typical police and security services,
including criminal investigations, conflict mitigation, security escorts,
traffic control, access control, and campus crime prevention.
The Police Department participates in various activities and programs
concerning issues such as personal safety, crime prevention, domestic
violence, and date/acquaintance rape.
The Police need your help and observation skills. You should always
report things that are unusual or suspicious. When reporting an
emergency, always stay on the line with the dispatcher until s/he ends

Lost & Found
Lost & Found is housed within the campus police department at LSC-
North Harris. The police department is located at the intersection of
Aldine Westfield and Turkey Drive.

In a time of concern about safety and emergency preparedness, it is
important to know what to do in the event of an emergency. For an
emergency on campus, remain calm and follow these instructions.
Law Enforcement
When law enforcement arrives on the scene, it is important to remain
calm and follow the officer’s instructions.
• Put down any items in your hands.
• Raise hands and spread fingers.
• Keep hands visible at all times.
• Avoid quick movements toward officers.
• Avoid pointing, screaming, or yelling.
