Services staff aid each student in the development of career, academic,
and personal goals. Accommodations are determined based upon the
individual needs of the student. Disability Services staff talk with faculty
to explain accommodations and promote the inclusion of students with
disabilities in programs and activities. An Assistive Technology lab is
located inside the Disability Services office. The lab provides
specialized equipment and software programs that offer students with
disabilities a level of accessibility to instruction and course materials. To

Things to know about Financial Aid:
• Priority filing date is April 1. Applications are accepted after this date.
• LSC Financial Aid Website: LoneStar.edu/financial-aid
• Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) website:
fafsa.ed.gov. Visit the Financial Aid Office for help completing the
FAFSA process.
• Include the Lone Star College school code (011145) when
completing your FAFSA.
• Students, parents, and borrowers are required to use an FSA ID,
made up of a username and password, to access certain U.S.
Department of Education websites. Your FSA ID is used to
confirm your identity when accessing financial aid information
and electronically signing federal student aid documents. Your
FSA ID is used to sign legally binding documents electronically. It
has the same legal status as a written signature. Don’t give your
FSA ID to anyone-not even someone helping you fill out FAFSA.
Sharing your FSA ID could put you at risk of identity theft!
