Dual Enrollment Program (University Parallel)
(Rooms G106 and G107, Gray) – Northeast
State’s University Parallel Dual Enrollment program is designed to be a cooperative effort with
local high schools and homeschool students. The program provides qualified high school students
an opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. Students may earn up to 12 hours
per semester of potentially transferable college credit while satisfying specific courses required for

Economic and Workforce Development
(Room RCAM141, Kingsport) – The purpose of the
Economic and Workforce Development unit is to expand educational access and student completion
by promoting and growing the Kingsport campus; to grow workforce solutions throughout the
region; to manage Adult Education services for Tennessee's First District; to facilitate economic
development partnerships with industry, community, educational, and government entities; and to
establish active communication with state and local government. The Office of the Vice President

for the overall recruiting efforts of the College. The office routinely visits area middle schools, high
