Educational Support Services
The Educational Support Services staff provides information, assistance, guidance and ongoing support
services to individuals who have disabilities, are academically disadvantaged, or have limited English
proficiency because it is a second language. Services are available at no cost to the student and are
tailored to the needs of the individual to promote vocational and academic success. Services include:
• Disability- Related Services:
Specialized disability-related advisement, transition assistance, access
to facilities, test-taking accommodations, auxiliary aids/services/small equipment loans, Access
Technology Center, interpreter services for hearing impaired, and other reasonable disability-related
accommodations.
• Adult High School:
Students with disabilities who would like to request accommodations for GED/
HSED testing may contact Educational Support Services at 735-2497 on the Appleton campus; or,
920-236-6155 on the Oshkosh campus.
Email
All Fox Valley Technical College students who take a class will be assigned an email address. This
address will be available to you throughout your FVTC enrollment. For a full list of information

College Use of Student E-mail:
Fox Valley Technical College will use email to communicate official College information of many
kinds to students. Examples include, but are not limited to, financial aid announcements, registration or
enrollment information, graduation information, college and student sponsored activities and events, and
emergency procedures and closings. In addition, your instructors may also use the FVTC email system

Employment Connections
Employment Connections is the primary employment resource for Fox Valley Technical College’s
students and graduates. They offer job search guidance and support through staff, events, and resources.
Whether a student is looking for work opportunities while going to school or trying to land a full time job
