Type II Absences:
Parent Notes
: The official absentee form is located on the web site, in
the back of the Student Handbook, and from the Attendance Office.
Parent notes must include:
1.
Current date
2.
Full names of student
3.
Grade level of student
4.
Dates of absences
5.
Reasons for absences
6.
Phone numbers where parents/guardians can be reached to verify
notes
7.
Signatures of parents/guardians

DO count toward the maximum allowable absences for courses

No permission to make up work
Unexcused/unlawful
Type III Absences:
Are any absence that do not fit either of the above two categories.
Examples are absences without parent notes or other required
documentation, cases of students skipping/cutting classes, students
leaving campus without permission, etc. These unlawful absences will
be referred to the school administration for appropriate disciplinary
action.
