Credit Recovery
Students who have lost credit with a grade of 51-59 in the core content
areas and have taken the SC End of Course Exam (if required) may
attend a self-paced after-school or day computer-based class. A student
selecting this option must attend classes during the scheduled time in
order to earn a grade of 60 and recover the unit of credit.
Spartanburg County Virtual School Program
At Byrnes High School, students may enroll in virtual courses through
the South Carolina Virtual School or Spartanburg County Virtual
School. If a student and his/her parent(s) desire information regarding
virtual schooling, available online courses, and enrollment procedures,
they should meet with a guidance counselor to discuss the application
process and course selection.
*Full-time virtual school students, as well as students who have earned
more than 8 units, will be included in the overall class rank at Byrnes
High School, but will not be eligible to be recognized as Byrnes High
School Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Marshals, or Ushers.
