The Office of Housing and Residential Life conducts the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of Residence Life Staff.
Roommate and Roommate Assignments
Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis when accompanied by the damage deposit and contract. If, on your
housing contract you do not list a choice of roommate, a student of the same sex will be randomly placed in the same room.
Complete and mail your housing contract as soon as possible.
Room changes can be considered after the first two weeks of school. If you and your roommate discover that you are
personally incompatible, all parties involved should contact your resident assistant for advice. The resident assistant will
contact
the Hall Coordinator. Under no circumstances should you make a room change without following this procedure.
Unauthorized changes can cause confusion and will not be tolerated. There is a $10 Room Change Fee. Hall changes also
can be considered after the first two weeks of school. This process originates with your hall coordinator. The student must
have the approval of his or her current Hall Coordinator, the approval of the Hall Coordinator to which he or she wishes to
move and the approval of the Director of Residence Life. There is a $10 Hall/Room Change fee.
