As part of the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Center for Learning and Student
Success (CLASS) is available to assist all undergraduate students throughout their
academic journey. CLASS supports the mission of the University and promotes academ-
ic and personal achievement by engaging students, forming partnerships and creating
programs and services to foster student success and the retention of undergraduate stu-
dents. This is done by coordinating retention activities between academic and student
affairs divisions; supporting and monitoring students’ academic progress; coordinating
with academic advisement units; providing collaborative learning opportunities; pro-
viding referrals to campus resources and support services; instilling a sense of the FAU
community in students; and coordinating programs that foster the academic success of
FAU students.

The mission of the Office of Student Financial Aid is to offer a comprehensive financial
aid program that attempts to meet the financial needs of all University students.
This office utilizes aid programs from all sources for which students are believed to
be eligible. In addition, this office uses these programs in ways to assist students in
achieving a quality education by supporting their academic and vocational objectives.
Food Services

FAU offers a dining program that includes residential dining, catering and popular-
branded concepts. The well-balanced food services program creates the ideal campus
dining experience to meet the needs of the diverse University community. Venues
on the Boca Raton campus include the Breezeway Food Court, Starbucks, Outtakes
convenience stores, The Burrow Grill, Centre Marketplace South, Einstein Bros. Bagels,
Dunkin’ Donuts and The Faculty and Staff Club. Venues on the Davie campus include
Steve’s Espresso. Venues on the Jupiter campus include Centre Marketplace North and
Outtakes.
