Legislative and Judicial. In addition to being the student governing body, SG serves as

FAU Student Health Services (SHS) provides student-focused primary medical and
nutrition services at the Boca Raton, Jupiter and Davie campuses. The Boca Raton
campus also offers primary dental and pharmacy services. Services are provided by
licensed health care professionals with expertise in caring for college students, to help
address health-related issues before they have a negative impact on academic success.

The Student Involvement office encourages student growth and facilitates development
through meaningful and purposeful participation in the planning, coordination,
and implementation of quality out of class programs, services, and activities for
undergraduate and graduate students. The Office of Student Involvement is responsible
for the following areas: registration and oversight of over 300 student organizations;
the Council of Student Organizations; Student Government Advising; Homecoming/

students by students and funded by students. Florida Atlantic University’s student
media provide a stable, reliable media environment and serves as a public forum for

The Student Union is the community center for all members of the Florida Atlantic
University campus including students, faculty, staff and visitors. The Student Union
provides a central place for students and others to spend time learning, socializing
and relaxing while coming to feel more closely connected to the campus. The Student
Union contributes directly to the educational mission of Florida Atlantic University by
providing encouragement and opportunities for participation in educational, cultural
and recreational activities and provides services for the convenience of the campus
community.
