customer service campaign. As you walk around any of our campuses during the
first week of classes, or during any large University event throughout the year, you will
notice campaign volunteers wearing red lanyards, offices displaying blue posters and
special canopies with banners. Have a question? Need directions? Not sure where to
get services or purchase books? Stop in at a help desk. Ask a friendly Owl volunteer.

Office of the Ombuds
(
)
The Ombuds works toward solving problems, not as an advocate for individuals or the
University but as a neural party and a supporter for fair outcomes. Because the Ombuds
reports to the President’s Office, the Ombuds has access to information from any office
within the institution. The Ombuds works toward an informal resolution of issues,
provides coaching, and discusses possible actions and outcomes. The office is informal
and does not generate records, take legal notice or accept official complaints; however
the office can assist you by making appropriate referrals if this is your intent.
